Kearny Steel Container President Mike Verzaleno

Based in Mountain Lakes, New Jersey, Mike Verzaleno joined Kearny Steel Container in 1992. A family-owned and operated business, Kearny Steel Container operates the industry’s largest container services facility. In his role as president of the steel container company, Mike Verzaleno oversees all daily operations, which entails the management of production activities, training new employees, inventory, sales, and price negotiations.

Under the direction of president Mike Verzaleno, the 200-employee Kearny Steel Container staff reconditions 55-gallon steel and plastic drums, in addition to rebottling 275 and 330-gallon intermediate bulk containers. In addition to reconditioning and rebottling services, he oversees recycling services for all sizes of industrial packaging for clients operating in a range of industries, from food products to industrial and chemical waste. He also coordinates projects with the organization’s sister company, National Packaging Services, and with the Kearny Steel Container satellite locations in Jessup, Pennsylvania, and Rochester, New York.

Mike Verzaleno holds a business management degree from Bloomfield College, and is a member of the Reusable Industrial Packaging Association. Apart from his professional activities, he enjoys offshore saltwater fishing and hiking with his family.
